How should I make up a solution of a water soluble fertilizer like Peters Excel?

As a rule of thumb mix 1kg of fertilizer in 10 litres of water and dilute 1 in 100 for feeding every other watering. Dilute 1 in 200 for feeding every watering. Use a high potassium fertilizer at the start and finish of the crop and a balanced fertilizer mid season.
