Scotts Compost Helps Tatton Winners Fly High
25 Aug 06 15:00Scotts sponsored the association and donated several pallets of Levington M2 all-year-round pot and bedding compost and some blocking compost. This was distributed to member growers who produced the plants from plugs for the display. The challenging construction of the butterflies was planted up using Levington Blocking compost. The company also provided three bulk bags of Levington Peat Free compost for on-site planting.
Scotts’ Derek Hampson said: “We were delighted to sponsor the association again. Their aim was to promote bedding plants and they more than achieved this objective with the superb display. They also received several minutes of BBC television coverage showing the background to the construction. Many congratulations to them.”
