Scotts New Brochure Keeps Growers In The Know

Scotts has launched a new brochure for its Levington and Shamrock product ranges designed to make it easier for growers to choose precisely the correct growing media for their needs.

To aid selection the brochure is divided into separate sections for seed and modular, pot and bedding, potting and pot plant and nursery stock with each mix having a simple descriptive name and numerical identity. Each compost has details of its recommended usage alongside details of conductivity rates, NPK analysis, standard pH level and available pack sizes.

In addition to a wide range of branded peat and growing media, the range includes an option to custom mix specific composts by adding other Scotts products, enabling growers to maximise performance according to their needs.

These additions include Osmocote Exact controlled release fertilizer, Intercept 5GR insecticide, and Terrazole 35WP fungicide. Other additives such as sand, grit, bark or lime can also be incorporated into growing media.
