Scotts Win Second Industry Award In A Month

Osmocote Topdress NT – the advanced fertilizer helping to promote early season sales of containerised nursery stock (CNS) – won the Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA) sponsored ‘Best New Technical Product’ award at the South West Regional Growers Show this week.

This is the second industry award Scotts Professional’s products have secured in the past month.

Containing coated, slow release and water-soluble fertilizers, the benefits of Osmocote Topdress NT include ease of use and ultimate evenness in conductivity over a five-month period.   While minimising leaching, its unique sticking properties ensure granules stay put should the plant pot topple over.   

“Osmocote Topdress NT gives nutrient depleted CNS an all-important early season boost,” explains Andrew Wilson, Scotts’ fertilizer technical manager.   “A single application to over-wintered stock promotes quick green up, and together with prolonged release of essential nutrients, helping get sales off to the best possible start. 
 
The HTA award comes hot on the heels of another recent success.  At the Four Oaks Trade Show in September Scott’s new long lasting wetting agent H2Gro won the HW sponsored ‘Professional product and service award’.
