Vantage

Vantage was developed by Pure Seed Testing and tested as PST-2A6B.  Featuring a bunch-type growth habit with fine blade width and low upright growth, Vantage forms a very uniform, dense turf with dark green colour and quick establishment.

Performing well in a wide range of soil types, pH range of 5.5 to 8.0 and exhibiting very good heat and salt tolerance.

With moderate endophyte content for improved insect and Summer stress tolerance, Vantage also exhibits very good overall disease resistance including moderate resistance to Gray Leaf Spot.

Vantage mixes well with improved ryegrass and fine fescue, and is an excellent blend component with other salt tolerant ryegrasses.

• Ideal for areas where the use of effluent water or moderate salinity are limiting factors.
• Good Red Thread and Stem Rust resistance.
• Excellent turf quality.
• Good colour in overseeding trials.
• 84% survival at 17,000ppm sodium chloride; high germination in salt studies at 700ppm sodium chloride.
