Hard water contains a lot of HCO₃- which results in a rising pH value of the substrate during cultivation.  Osmosol 523 Hard Water has a neutralising effect on bicarbonate in irrigation water and leads to a more stable pH in the potting soil during cultivation.

• Acidifying effect of Osmosol keeps 523 keeps irrigation systems clean and prevents deposit formation and clogging.
• Lowers the EC value and improves the quality of the irrigation water which leads to better plant growth.
