Creeping Red Fescue

Developed by Pure Seed Testing and tested as PST-4CR1, Florentine GT has a compact, spreading growth habit with dark green colour, very fine leaf texture, and good density.

Adapted to a soil pH of 4.5 to 8.0, it is moderately shade and salt tolerant.  It mixes extremely well with Turf-Seed's other fine fescues, Aurora Gold hard fescue and Seabreeze GT slender creeping red fescue.

Very attractive unmowed for deep roughs, slopes and roadsides.  Florentine GT exhibits good turf quality under low maintenance programmes.  A high level of endophyte also improves its ability to resist above ground chewing insects.

Excellent in quality mixes with perennial ryegrass.
