Osmocote Start

Osmocote Start is specifically designed for efficient nutrition of crops with a short cultivation cycle or for the additional nutrition of crops for a period of 6 weeks.  If this period is too short it is recommended to use Osmocote Exact Mini 3-4 months.

Osmocote Start has a 12+11+17 composition and contains the full spectrum of trace elements.  The special coating, which differs from that used on other Osmocote types, protects the nutrients against leaching.

Osmocote Start offers a good fertilizer programme for annual plants with a short growth cycle, such as violets, primulas, impatiens and marigolds.  However, Osmocote Start is also very well suited to more salt-sensitive vegetable crops and cuttings that are more difficult to root.  In contrast with traditional fertilizers, Osmocote Start avoids the risk of an excessive salt level; your crops always get the right nutrients.
